I have mentioned Shaun Ross before. He is one of the few albino models making a name for himself internationally as an alternative model. Much like Andrej Pejic his look is not widely used and you would think the industry might not accept such a model but clearly they do! I am all for new and different and I think it was a clever and beautiful choice for Katy Perry's music video.
The video, which includes Kanye West floating around rapping, finds us up in the cosmos with Perry looking down at earth and what I presume to be it's decay. Eventually she lands in a scrap yard where she discovers a robot which she brings to life with a kiss. As the robot transforms into a naked albino male, the wind blows off her dress to reveal that she herself has changed into a half-doe creature. And then they walk off into the sunset.
