With trends recycling the way they do, it is no wonder that we
run screaming move on from the pointed shoe style from the late nineties and early noughties. On my trip to America last month I unfortunately encountered many in this variety, horrified of course to find them raise up at the tip or covered in faux-alligator.
The trend of today is the love child of Dr. Martens and, I don't know, a very old bottle of wine. These round-toed beauties are available from Paul Smith and Alfred Sergant to name only two. Wear these like you would your more preppy items. Would you buy into this trend?
