On the 30th of November DSQUARED² announced their second consecutive collaboration with the recent Spanish league winners Futbol Club Barcelona. Having recently completed the three-year collaboration with Juventus, DSQUARED² will design imaginative and patriotic styles for the internationally celebrated team to wear.
The design partnership will consist of the all new off-field uniform for Futbol Club Barcelona which includes premium materials such as cashmere, silk, leather and wool. Of course the Caten twins are set to include a lot of attention to detail as they design the official uniforms of the Catalan-based team. These will be characterized in grey with the lively tone of Bleugrana. In order to reduce creasing and enhance performance, several styles will be produced in Technical Wool similarly found in the brand’s most recent DSQUARED² Classic suiting launch. Line Dry jackets and slim fitting pants will revolutionize the classic tailoring and modernize silhouettes designed specifically for professional athletes. Elegant tones of grey will be complimented with vibrant blue cashmere vests, silk ties, scarves and brooches adorned with the team’s official logo. As for accessories they will consist of belts, leather gloves, bags and branded black leather boots. Outerwear fabricated in wool and cashmere combinations will complete the look.
