It was only last month that Abercrombie & Fitch came under fire for allegedly mistreating the beautiful models they use in their campaigns. In addition to strict dietary rules it is believed they also severely underpay them too. Now the teens are in on it too with a protest against A&F's use of their 'Fierce' fragrance. Or more appropriately their abuse of it. The teens had this to say about it:
“Daily, A&F requires staff to repeatedly spray Fierce in the store's dressing rooms, retail space, on the clothing, and from ceiling sprayers that blow the spray outside the stores into the commons. Teens Turning Green is calling on A & F to stop spraying toxic and untested chemicals without notification or consent! We want this action to STOP!”
The teenagers took to the San Francisco A&F wearing gas masks in protest of the fragrance abuse. An anonymous salesman revealed they are allegedly told to spray the scent every 20 minutes so that the store always smells, not to mention that some stores have installed ceiling sprayers.
